Tunisia is a Northern African country. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east, Algeria in the west and Libya in the south-east.
Tunisia is a country with a very diverse landscape, having mountains in the north, deserts in the south and a spectacular Mediterranean coastline along its north and east sides. On top of it, the weather is great all year round.
Monastir and Hammamet are some of the most popular beach resorts, with white sandy beaches, warm water and plenty of seafood restaurants. But this lovely country is much more than paradise shores; it has also an incredible heritage with antique cities, archaeological sites, and amazing souqs and medinas. The energetic capital, Tunis, and the ancient city of Carthage are also really worth visiting.
