HOW TO GET THERE
Porlamar Airport, also known as Del Caribe International General Santiago Marino Airport, is located 7 miles west of Porlamar and receives connecting flights to the island.
It is also possible to take a ferry in mainland and cross to the island, to Puerto La Cruz with Conferry.
TRAVELLING AROUND
A rent-a-car is probably the best way to get around and explore the island. There are also local bus services and taxis. The taxis are very cheap and consistent.
