Belgrade is the capital of Serbia and former Yugoslavia's main city, new sweat, and personality changes, and surprises even the most traveled. It is one of the oldest capitals in Europe and is known for having one of the best night life in Europe.

Belgrade is situated at the confluence of the rivers Danube and Sava. Its population is about 1.6 million inhabitants is the largest Serbian city. Belgrade is also the capital of Serbian culture, education and science.

ORIENTATION

Belgrade is a gorgeous old town, and their oldest records of several thousand years before Christ. The city can be divided into three areas: Zemun, Beograd and Novi Stari Grad, the Old Town.

Zemun once was an independent city that was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Hence, the city's architecture is very similar to that seen in Austria.

Novi Beograd (New Belgrade or) is the most modern part of town where you can see the new buildings. Gradually, you become the business focus of the city.

Stari Grad is the old town, situated on the river Sava. It is this area that the city of Belgrade began, and where to find the famous Kalemegdan, ex-libris of the city.

The climate in Belgrade is moderate and has an average temperature of 11.4 degrees Celsius during the day. The hottest month is July with an average of 22.1 degrees centigrade and with August may have very hot days.
