Mahe is the capital and largest island of Seychelles, located in the Northeast, has 70,000 inhabitants and 148.20 km2, almost 90% of the total population. The capital of Seychelles, Victoria, is located on the island. The island was named by Bertrand-François Mahé de La Bourdonnais, a former French governor of Mauritius.

ORIENTATION
Mahe is in the north and east of the island, where he lives most of the population and where is located the international airport opened in 1971. One of the best beaches in the archipelago Source d'Argent on La Digue Island.
